Money Smart Week

March 31 through April 6 is Money Smart Week. Libraries throughout the country will be presenting activities and programs for young and old to encourage everyone to be smart about making financial choices.  In conjunction with this initiative, Bank of America will be presenting Saving for Retirement on April 3, 2019 at Schimelpfenig Library.  For more information about Money Smart Week, please see the following link:

Additionally, April is Financial Literacy Month.  It’s never too early to get started on making good decisions about money management. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is a great resource for learning about techniques and strategies to encourage families to start early in saving for their future.
