In her Inc. article, “How to Tell the Story of Your Career with Your Resume, Cover Letter and LinkedIn Profile,” LinkedIn is a must because it gives you the space to expand on your cover letter and resume, and provides important networking opportunities. Another plus? It gives people 24/7 access to your professional profile. George’s pro tip is to create a customized LinkedIn URL that you can include on your resume.
