Navigate Your Future

With a little extra time on your hands, summer is a great time to start making plans for your future. What will your life look like after graduation? What will you do for a living? There are many different types of jobs; in fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has identified 867 occupations. How will you choose? It’s never too early to begin thinking about what kind of a career you’d like to pursue and what you can do now to prepare.

Explore your options with a free workshop at Harrington Library on Monday, July 15 from 2-4 pm. Learn ways to think about careers and how to navigate the educational path to get there. Start preparing to manage money without help from your parents. Presented by Plano Public Library and Collin College, the workshop is for students in grades 6-12.
